The Hamblen House Restaurant and Bar is the newly renovated, open to the public, full bar and eatery that is also the home of American Legion Post 37. Providing fresh, local menu items and drinks from draft beers to top-shelf specialty options, you are sure to be pleased! Proceeds support the American Legion Post 37 programs, local veterans and their families. This historic building, former home of Charles F. Hamblen, built in 1886, became the home of Post 37 in 1919. Opened again in July 2017 after a two year long complete renovation, the Hamblen House boasts patio seating on the waterfront, an elevator for full handicapped access, brand new kitchen, and event hosting and catering, in addition to our original historic dining room!
