At D’licious Crêpes and Rōti, we specialize in French and Indian street foods, best known throughout the Chicago area for our sweet and savory crêpes. It all began when our owner, Rakesh, started selling crêpes out of his shop on the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana campus. His crêpes quickly became popular among the students, and many Indian students inquired about the possibility of Rakesh making Indian food. Having only a crepe machine, Rakesh created a batter recipe for rōti, an Indian flatbread, that he can make in the same machine. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, Bartlett locals visit Rakesh to enjoy authentic dishes, imported coffees and teas, gelato, and more, all in our unique Indo-French café setting.
