Although Meghan and Jessica only met a little over a year ago, an instant connection was made. A common interest in the love of growing things and good food began the process of creating Batch. We both grew up in our family garden and beside our mothers in the kitchen. And both of us are artists at heart, designing and creating is a natural instinct.

Hotel Saxonburg grew up with the community. It was known as the Vogley House until 1863 when it was purchased by E.F. Muder and renamed the Union Hotel. Francis Laube purchased the Union and renamed it the Laube House which it remained until the end of the 1800's. Most recently, the Gentile family owned and operated the "Hotel" for fifty-four years, transferring ownership in July of 2010 to the current owner.
Saxonburg Coffee & Tea is dedicated to bringing the highest quality coffee, espresso beverages, loose leaf tea, smoothies, and baked goods to the Saxonburg, Butler, and Sarver region. You'll find the freshest coffee around in our shop roasted several times each week, as well as locally purveyed teas and baked goods.
We think you'll love our space. The shop is located in a summer kitchen, circa 1877 that we've renovated to keep the distinct original features and mixed with a flair all our own.
