Matt and Ben’s proper fudge was started by Matthew Robertson when he left Bristol University in 2008. Wishing to be a World Banker just at the time banking was going through a rough patch he could not find a job initially. At Christmas 2008 his mother was making some old recipe fudge for friends and family and Ben would always ask if there was some left in the pot.
