El Olmito was founded in 1984 by Felix Calderon Jr and his wife Norma in Muscatine, IA. To this day we continue to be a family owned and operated business. El Olmito sells a small array of Mexican grocery products. The restaurant portion has recently been updated to include additional seating and provide a cozy atmosphere for anyone who would like to enjoy a Mexican meal on the go. There is a wide variety of choices from tacos de azada to tortas al pastor. We also offer traditional barbacoa and menudo on the weekends.
