In 2008, Travis Hester opened a food truck on Military Road in Benton, AR. In just one hour, he sold out of fish. Over time, Eat My Catfish became a favorite among Benton locals. Every day, customers stopped by to chat with Travis, fill up on fish, and try the spiciest (and best) crawfish around.
In January of 2012, Eat My Catfish opened its first brick-and-mortar restaurant--right across the street from the original trailer. Conway, AR was the next to experience Arkansas' best catfish when a second location opened in 2014, and Little Rock's store followed soon after.
