Morales was born and raised in the Mesilla Valley and knows what local residents want. After nurturing the former Santa Fe Grill restaurant on Foster Road, which opened in 1987, Morales opened the first Santa Fe Grill inside of Pic Quik in 1997 thanks to the help of Pic Quik owner Oscar Andrade.
