Once upon a time in rural Indiana there was a small town known as Heston. Although the town was small, the people took great pride in their own little corner of the world. The heart of the community was centered around this building. The post office kept the locals in touch with the outside world. The grist and lumber mill finished materials into marketable products. Our building, although smaller at the time, housed a dairy, which evolved into the general store and tavern. The tavern served a a meeting place for the locals to come together, eat and drink and keep up with the local happenings....
