In 1849, LW Cox acquired a triangular piece of property at the foot of Vinegar Hill. Originally intended for his home, the property later came to house a livery stable and carriage works.
After undergoing several transitions, the property became the site of The A&P Grocery Store in 1939 with its former compressor room area known as LW’s Livery StableTM today. Eventually after The A&P , the property was turned into commercial retail space.
In 2010, a modern version was born. LW’s Livery StableTM is a place to come and relax with friends & enjoy upscale pub fare.

Our bakery is open for the hours listed. During those hours we serve breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday 7:00am-11:30am and 11:30am-2:30pm respectively. On weekends we serve brunch 8:00am-3:00pm.
