In the 1800's Beaux and Jeana's great-great grandmother made fried pies for the ranch hands in Southern Oklahoma. She would dry the fruit on the roof tops to make them keep through the winter. This made the fried pies a food for every occation. When their grandmother Nancy grew up and married Bo Fulton he insisted she learn to make these wonderful pies.
