The historic Bull pub in the heart of Bracknell is now part of the Young's family. We've got our hard hats on and our paintbrushes out restoring this 15th Century wonder of a pub back to its former glory, as well as building a beautiful new dining room at the back. Opening 7th September.
There is some speculation regarding the origin of the Golden Retriever, with the original building pre-dating planning legislation. It is believed that the original site was a foresters cottage, dating back before 1841. The building was later developed into dog-kennels (explaining the name 'Golden Retriever'), whilst retaining its traditional farm-house style.
