The Berwick Inn Hotel was established in 1857, originally known as the Border Hotel and was an important community meeting centre and major staging post en route to the gold fields of Gippsland.
The hotel’s heritage listing and ambiance makes it an icon of the local area.
The hotel is well known within the local community and the surrounding area for its dining, relaxed lounge areas, beer garden, private functions, TAB and entertainment.

Primary @ Pioneers Park was established as a cafe 8 years ago when the old Berwick Primary school relocated. The building was to be demolished and the surrounding area zoned for more shops and car parking but the local residents and the national trust fought to keep the building and have this beautiful park constructed on the site. Parts of the building are original and are heritage listed. There is a small gift shop situated in one of the original class rooms that is run by the National trust society.
