We describe our style of food as "New American Cuisine", but what does that really mean? For us, it begins with exploiting time-honored kitchen techniques from French cooking, but applying them to the more far-flung culinary influences of contemporary America.
Among these influences are Latin America, Europe, and many Asian cultures. We love to use traditional ingredients to create bold flavors, but we also strive for refinement and elegance.
We are a family friendly, modestly priced restaurant specializing in artisanal pizzas made in wood burning ovens. We also feature Italian style tapas/small plates to be shared and enjoyed with friends and family. We take pride in using high quality, locally sourced ingredients that we serve with sincere hospitality, gratitude and soul.
We also have a full bar that includes a thoughtful list of old world wines, local area craft beers and “mash-ups” of American and Italian cocktail classics.
Marco's Pizza makes pizza the authentic Italian way, with dough made fresh in store every day, a special three cheese blend, and a sauce recipe that hasn't changed since its founding in 1978.
Located in the basement of Blue Tractor BBQ and Brewery, mash is a bourbon, whiskey and beer bar in downtown Ann Arbor.
