Originally built in the 1930s as a villa, Tianjin Cloudy Bay Hostel offers a 360-degree view from its rooftop. Painted blue and white, it echoes to the city’s past as a foreign concession complete with European architecture and a large port.

It also offers 24-hour hot water, central air conditioning and free wifi as well as a cafeteria, bar, laundry room, foosball and an open kitchen. Guests may use our Internet-accessible computers, lockers (with keys), storage space and bike rental service. There is no curfew. Guests can enter by punching in a code that is changed daily. We also have security cameras in all public areas.
While the hostel does not provide breakfast, guests can buy fresh coffee or tea at the bar. It has pool parties and barbeques on the rooftop in the summer and can arrange cultural activities, including tea tastings, Chinese cooking classes and tours of the local sights.
