The White Rhino Hotel has been in operation since 1913. The newly expanded hotel now offers modern facilities that meet your every day business needs.

Built in 1910 in Nyeri town for big game hunters, The White Rhino Hotel has had a rich legacy spanning pre-colonial Kenya when it was a whites’ only facility, through to the 21st century.

According to history, the hotel got its name from a white rhino that had been shot by hunters and staggered to death at the spot where the hotel now stands.

With its British roots, the homely cottage style hotel had for long been a favourite with high spending visitors to Nyeri and is a major landmark in the town.
