Combining comfory rooms, relaxed atmosphere and contemporary dining with incredible views across the Bristol channel, Exmoor, the West Somerset Railway.
The Beach Hotel is under going a full refurbishment and will be ready for you from June 2014. YMCA Somerset Coast purchased the hotel in November 2013. we will be transforming the hotel over the next few months to a luxury hotel, with spa and conference facilities.
The hotel will have 12 luxury rooms with stunning views across the Bristol channel, sea front or the town. It will also have 12 flexible rooms to suit business travellers, groups, families or backpackers.
The Hotel will be rejuvenating and energising the hotel by using the young people of the region to help run and manage the facility. We will be using apprenticeships to developing the talent in the kitchens, hospitality, front of house. We are fully committed to giving the youth of the region a chance to shine.
We believe that by giving the young people of the region a chance to hone their skills and gain valuable experience you will have the best of welcomes at the Beach Hotel.
Dogs are welcome to join you on your stay.
The region has a wealth of heritage, places of interest and activities to keep anyone busy.
We are surrounded by stunning mountain biking, kayaking, walking, climbing and kite surfing venues. Exmoor is one of the best regions in the country as you will find the trails to your selves, beaches quiet and relaxing, secluded coves to explore from your kayak. At the beach hotel we have a drying room and kit store to ensure your kit will be ready for you to get out and about.
