Schmucker’s has been a family-owned and operated Toledo dining tradition since 1948. Originally opened by Harvey and Nola Schmucker, the diner is currently run by the third generation of Schmuckers. Our staff is still serving up the great homemade meals that have kept us a favorite in Toledo for the past 60 plus years. Our menu features homemade meals such as Grandma's Swiss Steak, chicken over biscuits, meatloaf, pork chops, fried chicken, and much more. We also offer more than 20 choices of our famous homemade pies. Made from scratch every day, the quality can’t be matched. Some of our house favorites include chocolate peanut butter cream pie, caramel apple walnut, and key lime, but with more than 20 options, your favorite is surely on the list.
Whether you want to watch your meal be cooked from the chrome stools at the curving counter or cozy up in a booth, our diner’s atmosphere is as authentic as it comes. Harvey always said if you provided good food at a reasonable price and made sure customers did not leave hungry, they would keep coming back for more. Ever since then, they always have.
