Planetary Coffee is a mobile coffee shop serving Traverse City and the surrounding area of North-West lower Michigan. We serve the world’s finest coffees from our good friends at Halfwit Coffee Roasters, as well as handpicked seasonal selections from a rotating cast of excellent roasters.

Planetary Coffee is a dream realized together by husband and wife team Erik Harms and Emily Wilensky. Originally from Illinois and Michigan respectively, the two met in Chicago and after meandering up to Minneapolis for three years, the newlyweds decided to journey back to Emily’s homeland. Emily spent summers up in the Grand Traverse region, and had always romanticized a life lived up in the north woods of her home state. It has long been our dream to create our own vision of what the specialty coffee industry could look like in northern Michigan. We love the outdoors and live in a beautiful region, where people flock to enjoy the stunning views and warm hospitality. We want our mobile coffee service to reflect all of the region’s many attributes, and bring integrity and quality to every beverage we serve along the way.
