A fine-dining restaurant specializing in local foods, in an 1858 Victorian home. Gloria and Marcia Miele, owners; Liz Miele, executive chef.
A fine-dining restaurant specializing in local foods and local flavor, the Peter Herdic House is located in an 1854 Victorian home, at the entrance to Williamsport's Historic District. Owned and operated by "the Miele sisters", Marcia and Gloria, from our opening in 1984, the restaurant is now owned by Liz Miele and Dante Miele-Elion, children of the original owners. At one time boasting three generations involved in our business (grandmother Daisy Miele worked as pastry chef until the age of 95), the restaurant will soon be adding a fourth generation to the mix, when Gloria's daughter Liz (executive chef and chief locavore) welcomes her first child in October 2017.
