To promote love & music at the Nimbin Bowlo's open mic nights
The Nimbin Bowlo Open Mic Night promotes local (& visiting) artists. Singers, musos, poets, comedians - anyone in need of a mic is welcome. We have an in-house PA and drum kit so if you don't play drums, please bring your own instrument/gear. We will gladly set you up. Just put your name on the whiteboard and the stage (and mic) is yours for 20 mins. First in - best dressed. If you need accompaniment, there are a range of musos on-hand to help, but that's all up to you if they get up and play during your 20 mins.
Most nights end up with a big jam at the end where anyone can join in, but please note, the list of people on the whiteboard get preference.
There's a marvellous asian restaurant for those on need of some great food and all drinks at less-than-pub prices.
A growing phenomenon in Nimbin, this event has drawn a great crowd over the past year and seems to be growing in popularity exponentially. A supportive and encouraging environment for anyone willing to share their talent.
