Why are we called Netties'?
The Colour Purple is one of our favourite films, how a rubbish start in life lead to a really happy ending. Nettie is Ms Celie’s sister. If you’ve seen the film you’ll know this, if you haven’t? Well watch it! Great film!
What’s a ‘JookJohn’?
Essentially it’s a place were back in the days of prohibition in the US, that tired and weary workers would retire to for a little tipple after a hard day’s work, and enjoy a little bite to eat and listen to music. We wanted to recreate that same vibe.
Are you friendly, bubbly, sociable and maybe a little bit kind? YES? Then why not come down and meet our ‘family’ (we don’t believe in the typical management hierarchy ). We’re a fun bunch, love a bit of banter and want to offer something a little different to our community!

We want to make your experience as simple and as hassle free as possible. Just tell us when you will be there and we will do our darndest to make sure it’s there waiting for you when you arrive.
