Offering not only some of the finest dishes and cocktails, but also an air of glamour and romance, with sweeping views of the Ionian Sea.
Mnistires means 'suitors'. In Homer's The Odyssey, King Odysseus is off fighting the Trojan War when a bunch of unruly suitors -108 of them - move into his palace and set about wooing Queen Penelope. She's having none of it and remains true to her King - and they are reunited on his return ten long years later. It's a romantic tale and our elegant dining area is a romantic (and spotlessly clean!) venue.
ALL THE FLAVOUR OF THE MEDITERRANEAN
Start a morning full of energy with our generous breakfast and enjoy all-day dining, discovering traditional, Mediterranean and international cuisine.
For lunch our chefs will rustle up a healthy salad (we grow our own vegetables in our gardens) or a delicious traditional recipe. We have a full range of snacks, grills and light meals available, from traditional Greek to modern European and offer waiter service as you recline near the pool.
In the evening, the breathtaking views of Ithaca and the Ionian Sea set the scene and linen tablecloths, the scent of rosemary from our garden and a gentle summer breeze complete the picture for a truly memorable dining experience. Enjoy a romantic, private, dinner and romance under the full moon – the moon of love.
It's fine dining, but in a relaxed manner - dishes are beautifully presented and exquisitely cooked, but the service is as discreet as the music and lighting, and the atmosphere elegant and charming. Our chefs make their own bread and desserts on the premises and we offer an extensive wine list, including the famous Cephalonian crisp white “Robola”.
Delicious dining in a stylish ambiance with stunning views and romantic lighting, creating a unique culinary experience.
