Hi! We’re Steve and Alexia Krum and we wanted to share with you a little bit about the story behind our new ice cream shop opening at 200 Swiss Way in Elizabeth, Pa on March 19th 2017.

It all starts at the happiest place on earth, Penn State University of course! PSU holds the memories of some of the best times in our lives and is the place where we met and fell in love. To us, and many other alumni, thinking about Penn State brings up a flood of happy memories…going to tailgates and football games with friends, walking campus surrounded by the beautiful scenery (and of course 3 feet of snow all winter), waking up to the sound of the Penn State Blue Band practicing outside your window, reminiscing about a few (or more) crazy stories and adventures you and your friends had there, and of course enjoying a scoop or two of Penn State Creamery Ice Cream while sitting at Berkey Creamery.

After graduating we moved right outside of Pittsburgh to Elizabeth, Pa, which is where Alexia grew up, and we started our lives together as husband and wife. As we work to create a life we love, in a place we love, it only made sense that Penn State continues to be part of that. So we’re opening Krum's Creamery and bringing a little bit of Happy Valley to the ‘burgh. Our hope is that Krum’s Creamery is a place you come with family and friends to create happy memories. We can’t wait to share the best ice cream in the world from the happiest place in the world with all of you.
