Our story begins with a slice of pizza...
"What are you trying to do? Kill me? Hey Killer, grab me another beer," Paul Newman (yes that Paul Newman) said to my grandpa after taking a bite of his extra-spicy homemade pizza. This happened on the set of the 1977 film "Slap Shot."
The name stuck. That night, not only a nickname, but also a persona was born. From then on, he was known by three names: Dad, Grandpa or Killer.
Killer was a craftsman. He believed in quality work and had a keen eye for details. Whether he was painting a set, playing a game of pool, or barbequing a steak, his focus was on skill and technique.
Inspired by his values, Killer Roasting Company was named in his honor. We believe in the quality and craftsmanship of the work we do. We thrive when it comes to the details; carefully making sure everything we do is held to our highest standard.
