Eduardo Barajas Jr. has been providing San Diego residents with the best taco catering since 2011. He has been working in the family business since 1997 with over 31 years of experience in the Mexican restaurant industry. Eduardo started Jr’s Street Tacos (JST) in 2011 in order to share his passion for mexican food. Now in 2016 Eduardo has opened his own taco shop in Escondido, CA, Jr's Mexican Food. The family business has strong roots in Poway, CA located in beautiful San Diego County, particularly in the North County area. The family's origins are from Cotija, which is a city in Michoacán, Mexico. The restaurant is owned and operated by Eduardo Jr and his wife Sandra Barajas. He is taking the taco catering experience to a whole new level in the new taco shop.
Jr's Mexican Food provides the highest quality meats and use the freshest ingredients. The Carne Asada is certified 100% Angus beef. All the meats are marinated with a great tasting homemade seasoning not found in common taco shops.
Jr's Mexican Food is also very involved with their community. They give back 20% to the community and schools in the Escondido School District. Jr's Mexican Food also supports many local schools.
