GOCOs is a chain of convenience stores along the southern portion of Alabama and central Mississippi. We strive to offer the best quality products.
In 1992, GOC, Ltd. built its first convenient store in Silas Alabama. Seeing the tremendous potential of running stores; 1993 saw the opening of a second store in Chatom Alabama and a third in Sweetwater Alabama in 1994. In December of 1995, a GOCO's was opened in the company's hometown of Butler, Alabama marking the fourth store for GOC, Ltd. in three years.
Six months later the fifth GOCO store was opened for business in May of 1996 in Gilbertown, Alabama. Also in the summer of 1996, GOC, Ltd. moved into their new office building which was built at the company's first location on Riderwood Drive. In January of 1997 GOC, Ltd. bought Gibson Oil Company and there by combining the wholesale and retail sides of the business. 1997 also saw the opening of three more GOCO stores, one in Coffeeville and two in Jackson, Alabama.
