Welcome to the exciting new Go Sun, Ballymena, County Antrim’s finest Chinese Restaurant (est 1966) located at Bridge Street, only a couple minutes walk down from the town’s main attraction “The Braid” Art Center.
Since the restaurant opens in 1966, 45 years ago, the Go Sun restaurant has always been the locals’ favoured.
The Go Sun restaurant underwent major refurbishment over a 10 day period from 14th – 25th of November last year. During this time the Restaurant has been transformed into a stylish, comfortable and inviting establishment.
Since the refurbishment, our head chef Stephen and Heung have added some new exciting dishes onto the menu including Heung’s Seabass cooked in wine sauce, mature Fillet steak with tea tree mushrooms, if someone like hot spicy dish, they can try the trio chilli Fillet and also tantalising starters including Lok Bah Gou – Pan fried Chinese Turnip cake in Xo sauce, Filo King Prawns with sweet chili sauce and Deep Fried King Prawn Cake to name but a few. We also introduce a new desserts Menu included a few home made desserts such as Jam Sponge with custard , Cheesecake and Deep Fried Ice Cream (~ famous hot and cold chinese dessert) as well
