Developed from a 75-year-old family recipe, our homemade Italian ice is a perfect mixture of fresh fruit, water, sugar and other flavors blended into a smooth, refreshing dessert. The process, along with some special alchemy, takes those basic ingredients and makes it into a silky, sensational, sorbet-like sweet treat. Gelu has won the Taste of the Grand Valley's 'Best Dessert' category three years running. With more than 25 flavors, Gelu Italian Ice is dairy-free, gluten-free, fat-free and cholesterol-free. We now offer two sugar free flavors as well!
We currently serve the Grand Valley through our bright green and red mobile concession carts. We are also available for hire for special events such as family reunions, weddings, grad parties, private functions, birthday parties, you name it.
