Fisch und Gummel, the first authentic Fish & Chip takeaway in Switzerland, was opened in Schwyz, Canton Schwyz on the 16 March 2017. Gluten Free and Vegitarian food is available here. The town of Schwyz is the capital of the canton of Schwyz in Switzerland. The Federal Charter of 1291 or Bundesbrief, the charter that eventually led to the foundation of Switzerland, can be seen at the Bundesbriefmuseum. Schwytz is well worth a visit, not only for our excellent fish and chips, but for its beautiful buildings, history and extensive alpine activities.
