Cypress Street Station

A Landmark Restaurant in the heart of Downtown Abilene,TX. We host private parties and weddings as well as offer catering for both food and bar service.

The History of 158 Cypress Street Abilene Texas 79601 -
The Compton Building was constructed in 1919. The original use was as a drugstore downstairs with offices upstairs. Later, there was a cleaners downstairs and even briefly, a pool hall. By 1992 the building had been empty for decades. Brian Green, with the help of friends, was able to then design & create "Abilene's Landmark Restaurant" opening in December 1993.

Our staff and restaurant has received 14 Reader's Choice Awards, was featured in magazines such as, The New York Times, Southern Living, & on television programs such as, CNN, and ABC Nightly News.

In October 2009, Abilene's first brewpub Abilene Brewing Co.
was opened- at Cypress Street Station. Featuring three, 5 barrel tanks, and serving a variety of unique brews, Abilene's first Micro-Brewery was born.

Now entering a NEW EXCITING ERA, Terrance & Amanda O'Connor are the proud new owners of Cypress Street Station Pub & Brewery since January 2017. View our menu on our website at www.cypress-street.com/our-menu
