Steeped in history, Bluff House was the first and is now the oldest Resort in the Bahamas’ Out Islands ! Bluff House began in the early 1950s as the private home of Pearce and Kitty Coady and as many of the traditional English Victorian and American Colonial homes of its day, it was a wonderful gathering place for a unique mix of interesting and cosmopolitan people. Pearce and Kitty Coady frequently hosted boaters from all over the world who were looking for a comfortable night on land, good company, excellent food and genuine hospitality. Over time their 'home' evolved into an incredible resort destination.
Fast forward to June 15th 2011....Bluff House is now under NEW OWNERSHIP with Ian and Stacy Phillips at the helm.
In keeping tradition and the spirit of family alive, Ian & Stacy will take Bluff House into the future and onto the next level. All of us at Bluff House take great pride in being a very quaint, family owned and operated business, where guests will always be treated like family and a very special “Guest of our House.”
