Owned and operated by Jp McMahon and Drigín Gaffey, who also own Cava Bodega and EAT Gastropub, Aniar was awarded a Michelin Star for 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. This supreme culinary achievement recognises the restaurant's effort to pursue innovation through the prism of traditional techniques of preservation.
The kitchen is lead by chef patron Jp McMahon. Jp heads up a passionate culinary team committed to the local and the wild in contemporary Irish cooking. His small culinary team are ever attentive to new and exciting foraged elements that come daily to the door of the restaurant.
The restaurant is managed by Zsolt Lukács, who currently holds an intermediate certificate in Wine and Spirits from WSET. Zsolt has many years of experience when it comes to the finer side of dining.
