An original Art Deco diner built in 1948 by Paramount Dining Car Company of Haledon, New Jersey and transported to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and opened the same year. It continued serving traditional American cuisine for 44 years, at which time it was dismantled and transported to the historical Art Deco District of Miami Beach. After many months of restoration and help from the City of Miami Beach, the Diner was opened on September 11, 1992, a day we celebrate and remember America's history.
