Williams/Lunch On Limoges

A taste of New York, in Central Florida!

Located in historic downtown Dade City, Williams Fashion Center and Lunch On Limoges is definitely a "must see" stop on your itinerary.

The store is a joint venture of Phil Williams and Skip Mize. Skip is the resident chef, and is on-site daily to create the signature dishes. He is a graduate of Rollins College, of Winter Park, Florida.

"Folks around Dade City, Florida are going to hate me for telling you about Lunch On Limoges. They have a tough enough time getting a table already. On the west side of the old courthouse square, Phil Williams runs a clothing and dry goods business that's been in his family since 1908. Sixteen years ago, Skip Mize opened a small restaurant in the space that had been the men's department. Skip, the chef, built the kitchen himself - an open kitchen. Because, he says with a laugh, "What I wanted back then was a stage on which to perform daily." The reviews have been ecstatic. "We sort of made going out to lunch an institution here", says Phil. The menu changes daily, but the philosophy does not. "The basic idea is that we cook with fresh things" Phil says. The partners grow their own herbs with a particular fondness for basil. Sorry, Dade City, the secret's out." - Steve Millburg - Southern Living Magazine
