We are situated right on the Blue Flag beach at Goring By Sea with wonderful far reaching sea views. There is a large free car park (limited to 2 hours stay) and plenty of parking along the sea front. We have large green areas either side of the cafe. There are toilet/disabled toilet facilities.
We have an alfresco dining area which seats 150 and inside we can seat 80. There is a takeaway shop selling tea, coffee, cold drinks, ice creams, cakes and beach goods.
We are open all year round.
In high summer our hours are 8.30am til 6.30pm; winter months 8.30am til 4.00pm.

The Alexandra has been many things in its past, hotel, hostelry and of course a community pub. Lots of people know The Alexandra as The Alex.
The building dates from around c1830 and during those many years has had lots of external colour changes. I have been told that it was named after Queen Alexandra (1844-1925), wife of Edward VII.
