I am from Vietnam but came to the great USA in 1975 with my family. I was only 4 years old and grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. I look as Asian as they come; however, those of you who know me, growing up in the south has made me a true southern belle! I grew up eating and cooking delicious southern comfort foods like country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, meatloaf, cornbread, fried chicken and pot roast, just to name a few. However, I can most certainly say, growing up with my wonderful mother's cooking, I've never lost my knowledge and taste of true authentic Vietnamese food. I am so proud to introduce and share with you all my twist and flavors of my country's food.

My love for food and feeding people has brought me to this stage in my life. I believe that food speaks to your soul. I love taking the freshest ingredients and transforming them into something so delicious and creative to share with all. I hope to be able to touch each and every one of you with my take on tantalizing Viet-Nomie's cuisines! BON APPETIT!
