We're a not for profit that provides catering services and runs a cafe located in the Social Enterprise Hub, open 5 days a week.
Employment is the goal of many people that work walk through our doors. In order to help them build their skills, we need to fund programs. We have never been satisfied with the status quo, so in response to these needs we decided to start our own businesses! These are businesses that not only provide training opportunities, but also employ program participants at a living wage. In addition to this, profits generated from these businesses are used to supplement funding for our training programs, helping us become more self-sufficient and less dependent on external funding.
This is the essence of our social enterprises: creating healthy businesses, with people as our bottom line.
