Welcome to South Tamworth Bowling Club – or South Bowlo as we are affectionately referred to by locals!
South Bowlo is located on Margaret Street in South Tamworth and is a family friendly Club with modern, and comfortable facilities.

Café South is open 7 days offering a range of delicious options for the whole family including light snacks, main meals including steak sandwiches, schnitzel, salads, coffees, milkshakes, cold drinks, cakes and slices and of cause our $12 value meals. For another dining option, our Chinese Restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner and has a weekly smorgasbord on Thursday and Sunday nights for just $17.80 for adults.

South Bowlo is the place to be with a vibrant calendar of regular activities and events all year round. We are proud hosts of Hats Off To Country each year in July and Tamworth Country Music Festival in January, and showcase local and national artists throughout the year at the Club.

Our purpose built function room is the perfect location for your special event including birthday parties, weddings, engagement parties, celebrations, presentations and meetings. We have a range of catering options and packages available – talk to our functions team for more information.

Come down to South Bowlo for a meal, dance, to use our TAB and Keno facilities or for a bowl. We have bowling greens for a serious or social bowler. Bring some friends and make it a fun night to remember. We also run a courtesy bus so you don’t have to worry about a lift home.
