With its beginnings in the mid 1880's, and the core of it's current building being built in 1930, the heritage listed Sawyers Valley Tavern is one of the few remaining Art Deco buildings that was so unique to the Shire of Mundaring.
Having catered for the railways workers in the 1880s, and the local sawmill workers beyond that, the Sawyers has been an integral part of the Sawyers Valley community for well over a century.
With a fresh team at the helm of the restoration of this iconic venue, expect a little bit of the old with the new.
With a larger drive-thru bottle shop, a cleaner and tidier appearance, and a big focus on the customer first, you will be feeling at home in your trusty local, but be treated to the luxury of the best tavern service W.A. has to offer.
