GLACIAL RIDGE EQUINE
is a full service horse facility, owned and operated by Cheryl Byrne, located on 40 acres of open and shaded paddocks adjacent to scenic Union Lake Sarah in Erksine, Minnesota. We offer a well-lit indoor ring and indoor round pen, fields and trails, box stalls, and run-in pens. Services include starting youngsters, halter conditioning, longe line training, hunter under saddle and over fences, western pleasure and trail, as well as riding lessons.
Emphasis on horse-friendly colt starting and training program that produces trusting, confident, sound horses.
Our unique lesson program includes an equine science component that promotes an understanding of the pros and cons of different management and training techniques.
Always a nice selection of well-bred horses of all ages and training levels available for your consideration.
HOW TO FIND US::
From the North: Hwy 59 south. After crossing Hwy 2, go exactly 4 miles further on Hwy 59 south. Turn west (right) onto CR 206. Go approximately 2 miles till you come to a 'T'. Turn left onto CR 34. Go about 1/4 of a mile, then turn left onto gravel. You'll still be on 34, which is also 210th Ave SE.. Go 1/4 of a mile to our driveway on the west side of the road.
From the South: Hwy 59 north. Approximately 8 miles after Winger, turn west (left) onto CR 206. Go approximately 2 miles till you come to a 'T'. Turn left onto CR 34. Go about 1/4 of a mile, then turn left onto gravel. You'll still be on 34, which is also 210th Ave SE.. Go 1/4 of a mile to our driveway on the west side of the road.
From the East: Hwy 2 west. Turn south onto Hwy 59, go exactly 4 miles and turn west (right) onto CR 206. Go approximately 2 miles till you come to a 'T'. Turn left onto CR 34. Go about 1/4 of a mile, then turn left onto gravel. You'll still be on 34, which is also 210th Ave SE.. Go 1/4 of a mile to our driveway on the west side of the road.
From the West: Hwy 2 east. Turn south onto Hwy 59, go exactly 4 miles and turn west (right) onto CR 206. Go approximately 2 miles till you come to a 'T'. Turn left onto CR 34.
