The Clubhouse, with 27,000 square feet, offers all the amenities of a truly private Club. The main level offers a variety of dining areas featuring panoramic views of the golf course.
Conveniently located on the lower level are the Golf Shop, Men’s and Women’s locker rooms each with lounges and saunas, and the Fitness Center. A fun-filled calendar of events and activities, including tournaments and league play, is designed for members of all ages.
Entertaining is a pleasure in our traditional southern clubhouse. From casual dining after golf to an elegant formal affair, the club offers the perfect setting for any occasion. Our spacious clubhouse includes the Mixed Grill with indoor and outdoor tables; the Board Room, designed for meetings and private parties; the Ballroom, which can accommodate over 250 people; and the Formal Dining Room, perfect for your intimate gatherings. Complementing these facilities is the staff’s “Membership Matters” attitude.
The Florence Country Club Golf Course was reconstructed in 1986 to comply with United States Golf Association (U.S.G.A) specifications. Our mature, traditional course features oak and pine framed fairways with challenging elevation transitions. A new irrigation system has been installed to better maintain our Ultra Dwarf Bermuda grass course and bunkers have been recently redesigned to deliver a memorable playing experience. Practice facilities include a 300+ yard driving range in addition to putting and chipping greens. The course is playable by golfers of all ages and skill level.
The Golf Pro Shop offers a variety of the finest sportswear and equipment for men, women, and children of all ages. The Pro Shop overlooks the first hole on the course and our member services include club repairs, shoe care, bag storage, club storage, lockers and U.S.G.A. handicap services. We have three P.G.A. trained professionals who are available to assist you in perfecting your game. Special emphasis is placed on developing young athletes from ages four and up through our Junior Program.
The Fitness Center offers the perfect setting to maintain or improve your physical fitness. Cybex weight training and cardio equipment are available to members 24 hours a day.
The Swim-Tennis Facility includes a snack bar featuring your favorite beverages and a casual dining menu. Shaded dining is available outside and inside of the lounge area. Women’s and Men’s locker rooms feature showers, lockers, and toiletry items such as tissues, fresh water, and towels.
The Florence Country Club Tennis Courts feature six newly resurfaced hard courts and two new hydro-clay courts all lighted for night play. Ball machine is available to members at no cost.
The Tennis Pro Shop offers a full line of apparel, equipment, and racket restringing services. We have two USTPA Certified Professionals who offer lessons and clinics in addition to organizing a variety of league, mixed double, combo, and junior programs to accommodate players of all ages and skills.
Junior Olympic Swimming Pool is a resort shaped pool with staffed lifeguards during pool hours of operation. The pool can accommodate over 200 people and the deck area offers a variety of sunny and shaded seating options. Junior swim teams and practices are also are accessible to members.
