Hi, we are Elena and Christian. We came to wonderful Aberdeen from Florence, in the Tuscany region of Italy. We came here on vacation a few years ago and decided to move here and open a restaurant. This country is amazing!
Our restaurant is a family business: there's just the two of us and we do everything we can to offer our customers the very best. For this, we only ever use fresh ingredients. Never frozen, just fresh meat, fresh vegetables.
In Italy, we have great respect for the food that we eat; we like our food tasty and made from fresh, local ingredients. This is why our menu varies, when it comes to side dishes - we use what is in season.
We do our best to serve our food as fast as possible, but without skimping on quality and sometimes this may mean longer waiting time. It's not that we are overwhelmed, we take only the time we need to cook a fresh, tasty meal.
Also, there are a few rules we never stray from: for example, to never mix certain ingredients, because of the respect we have for food.
