***FAQ for Dried Whole Fish Dog Chew***
Q. Are there any binders (any other ingredients besides bonito fish?)
A. No. These are 100% natural bonito fish.
Q. What is the shelf life and can it be left exposed if a dog does not finish it?
A. The shelf life is 2 years at normal room temperature. After opening the seal, it can be left exposed for 3 months at normal room temperature. After opened, store bare. Do not keep in the bag.
Q. Is it fully digestible so it cannot cause an internal obstruction if a piece is swallowed and not chewed.
A. These are just natural fishes baked many times in a coal oven till hardened. It breaks down in stomach acids just like any other fish.
Q: How is the chew made?
A: The chews are made from extremely fresh 100% wild-caught bonito fish. After fishermen catch them, they are steamed at a high temperature. The bones and skin are then removed from the steamed fish and they are cooked in a large charcoal oven with cherry and oak wood. This lengthy process ensures the best end-product for your pet and also the most superior tasting!
Q: Does it have a fishy smell?
A: Because this chew is 100% natural cooked fish, it does have a fishy smell. However, the smell is not repulsive. It is more so a gentle smoky aroma.
Q: Will this chew make my hands dirty?
A: No. This chew is very firm and compact. It will not leave a residue on your hands and would be handled for such a short amount of time (removing from packaging and giving it to your dog), that your hands will not get “dirty” in this process.
Q: Will this product make my sofa dirty?
A: Because this is 100% cooked fish, it does have a tendency to shed small flakes of fish while your pet is happily eating it. It is therefore recommended to only feed this chew to your pet on the floor, on a plate, outdoors or some other easily cleanable surface. If you do feed the treat to your dog on a fabric sofa, there is a chance the fishy aroma may linger for a small amount of time.
Q: I have only heard of fish being used in cat treats. Is fish really good for dogs?
A: Yes! The omega-3 fats found in the fish are extremely good for dogs, along with cats and humans! They help your dog with their skin and coat health, as well as being very healthy for their joints!
Q: Will my dog have fishy smelling breath after eating this treat?
A: We have never noticed a fishy smell on the breath of a dog after eating the chew and our customers have not had that complaint either.
Q: Is this chew a healthy treat for my dog?
A: Yes! This 100% natural fish chew is extremely healthy for your dog as it has nutrients you will not find in other chews. It is also free from any fillers, additives, and artificial colors! Again, the omega-3 oils found in the fish are also very healthy for your dog’s skin, coat and joints, making this a great chew for them to enjoy!

A: The shelf life of the chew is 2 years at room temperature below 80 degrees F (27 C). After opening the seal, the chew can be left at room temperature below 80 degrees F (27 C) for up to three months.

***Handling Instructions for Dried Whole Fish Dog Chews***
Attention:
Pet shop owners/managers and whoever it may concern
This product, Dried Whole Fish Dog Chews, is made without preservatives. It contains zero preservatives. The product is 100% wild bonito fish cooked for human consumption food grade. The product is vacuum-packed, and inside of the package, there is no oxygen. However, if the container bags are damaged by even a very tiny pin-hole, oxygen will get in, becoming a cause of mold.
Since the product has absolutely zero preservatives, the manufacturer suggests that the product be handled with care at home and shops. Avoid direct contact with safety pins, ballpoint pens, thin wires, finger nails, rings, or any pointy objects to vacuum packs. We also advise shops to keep the product out of the reach of children and pets to prevent accidental puncture.
After opening, please remove the product completely from its bag. Store "bare" in a cool and well-ventilated place. Store in the fridge when the room temperature reaches 84 Fahrenheit (29 Celsius.)
