Charlene’s handmade superfood delights are the perfect choice when you want a healthy, satisfying treat or need that energy boost.

Charlene’s Wholesome Pantry is located in Ballinagh, Co. Cavan. I have always had a love for good wholesome food, after studying food science my interest in nutrition and wellness grew. As a busy working mum I found it difficult to get a satisfying healthy snack to give me the energy I needed, so I began to make my own.

After 9 years working in the food industry I decided to turn my hobby of developing healthy snacks into a business venture. The business was set up in 2016 when I saw an increasing demand for my range of healthy superfood delights at the local farmers markets and food fairs. I started making the seed, fruit and nut slices and then very quickly moved onto the energy balls as they are a great convenient snack to have on the go. I aim to make the products as healthy as I can using the best natural ingredients possible while at the same time making them a satisfying treat which can be enjoyed with a cuppa or on the go. Within the range there are options for vegan, vegetarian, paleo and wheat free diets.
