Red Barn Market History
Red Barn Market is family owned and operated, located on the Kropf family's Centennial apple farm. Roger & his daughter, Barb opened the retail market in the spring of 2014.
It is here that Roger's grandfather, Christian Kropf settled some 120 years ago after leaving Switzerland for the American Dream. It is here that he planted his first acres of apple trees and raised his children.
Four generations later, the Kropf family is still realizing that dream, growing and harvesting apples from the very land Chris first planted!

Looking for a healthy option? Our Produce Market features our family grown Michigan apples and we carry local seasonal produce like blueberries, strawberries, sweet corn and watermelon.
Hungry? Our Café features Certified Angus Beef hot dogs & burgers, our very own Red Barn Bagel, pulled pork sandwiches, BLT's, grilled cheese & club sandwiches and fries. Have allergies? We accommodate gluten and dairy free diets!
Top it off with a sweet treat from our Ice Cream Parlor! We feature Hershey's hand dipped ice cream and Prairie Farms soft serve ice cream. We make milkshakes, flurries, sundaes, floats, old fashioned sodas and more! Sugar free, gluten free and dairy free options available!
Browse the shelves in our Market and take home some local raw honey, real Michigan maple syrup, locally made Charley's Chips and all natural jams, salsas, sauces and dressings. We have a variety of old fashioned candy and you can pick up a few basics like milk, brown eggs and bread.
Fresh ground coffee and lemon water are always free when you stop for a visit!

The market hosts several events throughout the year including Easter Egg Hunt, Music at the Market summer concert series, the Barn Yard Petting Farm, Kent Harvest Trails, Spooky Barn Maze, Halloween Carnival, Christmas Through Lowell and a night with Santa!
