El's Drive-In is a family owned, fast food restaurant located in Morehead City, NC. We are next door to Carteret General Hospital and across the street from Carteret Community College and the Crystal Coast Civic Center. We have been serving the freshest meals since 1959. All food is made to order, delivered to your car by a curbside waitress, or if you prefer, at one of our picnic tables nestled under the oak trees.

EL's Drive-In Menu Includes:

  • Hot Dogs (yes, red dogs, topped your way!)
  • The famous Shrimpburger (with homemade slaw and ketchup)
  • The famous Superburger (5oz patty on a 5" bun-made your way!)
  • Barbeque
  • Fried Chicken (allow 20 min. cooking time)
  • Ham Sandwiches
  • Bacon & Egg Sandwiches
  • Grilled Cheese (add bacon if you'd like!)
  • Fries,onion rings (or a combo!), bagged chips
  • Slaw (freshly made from our own recipe! It's the Best around!)
  • Delicious Hushpuppies

    Call in orders are welcome and appreciated. Please allow cooking time, especially during lunches, weekends and holidays.
