John Brown's Underground is a cocktail palace in beautiful downtown Lawrence, located on 7th between Mass. and New Hampshire streets.

Sometimes celebrated as a freedom fighter and sometimes vilified as a madman and murderer, there was an inarguable intensity and commitment to abolitionist John Brown's beliefs. “Old Osawatomie Brown” was captured and executed in 1859, but his spirit lives on here at 7 E. 7th St. in our passion for craft cocktails and the hospitality experience.
