Golden Rock Inn is a low fuss & low tech tropical paradise with 11 guest rooms, an aesthete's playground by New York artists Helen and Brice Marden.

Gentle trade winds and dramatic Caribbean vistas set the stage for a visit to Golden Rock Inn. A former sugar estate dating back to the early 1800’s, the property has been thoughtfully restored through the eyes of New York artists Helen and Brice Marden.

Set on 100 acres stretching up the slopes of Nevis Peak, this boutique property has eleven guest rooms, including the unique Sugar Mill Suite. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens designed by the owners with Miami landscape architect Raymond Jungles, the inn is an escape embraced with birds’ songs and the rustling of bamboo.

Accommodations include a daily breakfast at The Rocks restaurant, on property. Here breakfast, lunch and dinner are served every day, incorporating lively Caribbean cuisine with the freshest of local ingredients. The alfresco dining area, designed by world renowned architect Ed Tuttle, wraps around gently cascading reflecting pools overlooking Windward Beach below and the island of Antigua beyond.

Cocktails, some incorporating local fruits and herbs, are served at the bar under stone vaulted ceilings in the original estate building dating from 1815. Golden Rock’s Famous Rum Punch along with the firey Mount St. Helena are not to be missed.
