Zan View Hotel is situated on a cliff above the local village of Kairo, Kiwengwa, with a large beautiful white sand beach on the Indian Ocean.
Zan View Hotel has 12 large rooms with a tree-house style bar and restaurant serving local Zanzibari, East African, as well as European and American Cuisine. There is Free WiFi throughout the property and we provide everything you need for an incredible island vacation.
The hotel is built as a castle, inspired by the Arabic influence which is seen in many building designs throughout Zanzibar. Our location, on a cliff above a local village, puts you just 50 meters, a 2 minute walk, from a large white sand Indian Ocean beach. Our proximity to the village, Kairo, gives you a glimpse into the beautiful sites and sounds of real island life.
Our aim is to serve our customers with the highest standards possible, and at the same time being able to deliver what our guests demand at any time, of course within what is possible in Zanzibar. Satisfying your every wish is our only desire, to complete your magical island vacation, sending you home sun-kissed, and laughing, with a full belly! Food, service, and supporting the local community is at focus here, and it's important for us to make our guests to feel at home. All of our furniture is handmade locally and all of our produce and meats are organic, local, and delivered daily.
We will either personally take you, or organize excursions for you to see all of the other amazing experiences that Zanzibar has to offer, including the winding alleys of Stone Town, World Class Diving and Snorkeling, Sailing on a Dhow boat, Seeing amazing Coral Caves, Seeing the Giant Tortoises of Prison Island, and so much more!
