BamBu Tee serves a most refreshing, rich in variety and extremely delicious tea drink called bubble tea. Besides green or black tea a choice of concentrated fruit juices, milk, yoghurt and so-called “toppings” are used as ingredients. These can be the traditional tapioca pearls (produced from cassava root starch) but also pieces of jelly or popping boba).
By the way, the name “bubble tea” does not derive from the tapioca pearls. Instead, it refers to the ultra fine foam that emerges on the surface when shaking the tea with fruit sugar, ice and milk.
